Pastor Willy's Blog - Complete Post
Calvary is pleased to announce that Dr. Jeremy Westbrook the Pastor of Living Hope Church in Marysville, Ohio will be joining our pastoral team in an executive leadership role as Executive Pastor of Missions/Multiplication. Dr. Westbrook will be overseeing strategies and programming directly related to our X150 vision. Specifically, Jeremy will oversee our missions division, our campus pastors, and our church planting efforts. Jeremy will arrive and begin his ministry with us right after the New Year.
For the last 7 years Jeremy has been the pastor of Living Hope Church in Marysville, Ohio. He and his wife Jennifer planted this church 7 years ago. Living Hope Church has grown, already planted one daughter church and also worked in multi-site efforts. Jeremy has been a leader in church planting. He has worked with First Baptist Church Woodstock as an instructor in their church planting schools and taught church planting principles nationally and internationally. He has worked directly with our North American Mission Board as an ambassador in Ohio, served as President of the Ohio Baptist Convention, and as a member of the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee. He has a Master degree from Mid-America Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Southern Seminar.
He is 37 and he and Jennifer have three children Caden Daniel (2005), Abigail Kate (2009), and Jackson Luke (2013). I am convinced that he will play a critical role in helping us develop our church planting strategies and structures as well as provide a unique perspective and leadership in developing our multi-campus and missions strategies. We look forward to introducing Jeremy to our church and to his arrival in January and trust that our entire Calvary family will welcome the Westbrooks to Calvary.
