Welcome to November. The time changes, the days shorten, and the holidays really begin since Thanksgiving is just around the corner. At Calvary, we are moving towards the climax of our x150 Advance initiative on the weekend of November 17th.

Right now, we are in the middle of a 21-day period of extraordinary prayer. If you have not received a copy of the “Advance the Kingdom” book, pick one up right away at church or access all the information online at Calvary.us/x150advance.

Each day, we are sharing a special time of prayer on Calvary’s Facebook page. You can follow along and pray with us each day, asking for God’s kingdom to advance and for God to show each of us what He would have us to do.

As part of our x150 Advance initiative, I have asked Dan Hall to come and share with us this weekend. Dan is a dear friend of the Calvary family who spoke frequently on our Clearwater campus over the last decade. An accident just over 2 years ago left him paralyzed from the neck down. He and his wife, Hazel, have had their lives turned upside down, and yet they have persevered with strength, grace, and joy. Dan has always had a heart for generosity and for the Kingdom of God. He will continue our series, Advance the Kingdom, with this weekend’s message. You don’t want to miss welcoming our friend Dan Hall back to Calvary this Sunday.

While our Commitment Sunday is slated for November 17th, the days leading up to Thanksgiving include some important and beautiful traditions at Calvary.

On the weekend of November 24,  I’ll be sharing the annual message Come Before Winter in our morning services. That night, we will observe Communion Services on all 3 campuses at 6:00

We are already getting ready for Christmas at Calvary. Our Director of Worship Ministries, Brad Noblitt, is getting the Calvary choir ready for Jesus You Alone: A Calvary Christmas on Saturday, December 14th & Sunday, December 15th. If you are interested in being part of this choir for the holidays, regardless of your age or which campus you might attend, you are invited to join rehearsals for this exciting season. It’s not too late! Practice is on Tuesdays at the Clearwater Campus Choir Room at 6:30pm.

Calvary is in an exciting season as we continue with X150 Advance, celebrate Thanksgiving as a church family, and prepare for the Christmas season. We look forward to having you join us!
