DEDICATION SERVICE
This is a special time that allows parents of babies and children up to 3 years old the opportunity to publicly, and before God, commit themselves to raise their child in a Christ-centered home. This service is not related to infant baptism, as we believe the biblical principle of baptism is only for those old enough to believe and publicly profess a personal faith in Christ.
PARENT REQUIREMENTS
Parents must first attend a “Spiritual Parenting” class that will put in perspective what dedicating children truly means. Parents must be part of the community of faith at Calvary and may not be cohabiting with someone if not married.
Spiritual Parenting Class Dates:
- Clearwater Campus – Sunday, April 23rd | 10:45am
- East Lake Campus – Wednesday, April 26th | 6:30pm
- Seminole Campus – Sunday, April 30th | 12:30pm
MAKING THE DAY MEMORABLE
Families will take part in our Dedication Celebration on Sunday, May 8th during both services at all 3 of our campuses. The Calvary Church family is invited to be part of this special service.
Families will also receive a beautifully printed program that features pictures of all the children and each child is given a Bible and a Baby Dedication Certificate as a remembrance of this notable time in their young lives.
