Summer is here and that means Vacation Bible School (VBS) is right around the corner. VBS is from June 18-22 at our Clearwater campus and is held from 9:00am to 12:00pm every day. Children ages 4 (by June 1) through completed 5th grade can attend. There is no cost.  You can get all the details and sign up at Calvary.us/VBS.

Many children and families see Calvary’s VBS as one of the highlights of the entire year. Last year, more than a thousand kids attended, and this year should prove to be just as wonderful. This is one of the greatest ministries and greatest mission projects we do all year long. We still have a need for additional volunteers. If you’re interested in helping, sign up at Calvary.us/VBS  or call 727-441-1581 to speak with Christy Ridgeway.

The last Discover Calvary seminar before the summer will be held next week, June 6th at the Clearwater campus, and June 10th at our East Lake and Seminole campuses. If you are new to Calvary, this is the best way to find out more about Calvary and learn how to get connected. Sign up at Calvary.us/discovercalvary. Dinner and childcare are available.

I’ve sent an open letter to all Calvary Bible teachers of adults. Whether you are leading a group, serving in a position, or just have a passion to teach the Bible to adults as part of a Calvary discipleship strategy, I would like to meet with you on Wednesday, June 20th at 6:30. Here is the open letter I recently sent out to Calvary teachers.

Our Israel trip scheduled for March 2019 has filled up. We are now placing people on a stand-by list with hopes of getting some extra seats. The cost has gone up $200 as we had to secure additional airline reservations, but if you are interested in going, I hope you will still register and we will do our best to accommodate. Click on Calvary.us/Israel for more information.

We are  also planning a trip to Utah on September 3-8. I’ll be leading a group that will be hiking and backpacking in Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park. Space is limited, so if you are interested, check out the information and sign up here Calvary.us/hikeutah.

Summer is a great time at Calvary and a great time for ministry. I hope you will stay connected and involved this summer and make the most of this important season of ministry.
