Disaster Relief

Florida Baptist Disaster Relief (FBDR) provides a way for believers to respond immediately and effectively in someone’s greatest hour of need. When people are hurting because of a disaster, FBDR volunteers respond with love, healing, and help. Disaster Relief efforts can be summed up in one phrase: “A cup of cold water in Jesus’ name”. By following the examples of Jesus in Luke 10 and Matthew 14, FBDR deploys Christians to be love in action — meeting urgent needs of hurting humanity in crisis situations.
