Foster Care & Adoption

Advocacy and support for foster care and adoption is part of Calvary’s DNA. AGAPE serves as a ministry to support families within the church who have answered God’s call to take care of children in need. When a foster or adopted child comes into a new home, our church family has the privilege of exemplifying the love of Christ by providing wrap-around services and love to the entire family. In addition to providing ongoing support for families, AGAPE also seeks to recruit, train, and bring awareness of the need for Christian homes for children in need. For more information on how you can help support foster and adoptive families, contact our Missions Department.
A Door of Hope recruits, trains, licenses, and supports Christian foster homes. Their vision is to see a home for every child placed in the foster care system. For information on foster care informational meetings, training schedules, the licensing process, or other questions, contact A Door of Hope.
Florida Baptist Children’s Homes (FBCH) works alongside adoptive parents to provide caring and experienced adoption specialists, help with counseling, supervision of legal matters, and work with biological parents and others involved throughout the adoption process. For information on domestic adoption through FBCH, contact our Missions Department.
Lifeline Children’s Services offers a full range of consulting and social services to prospective adoptive parents designed to minimize the stress, time, and costs associated with the successful adoption of a child internationally. Lifeline staff work with adoptive parents through every stage of international adoption and continue to provide support even after a child is placed in his or her forever home. For more information on international adoption, please contact our Missions Department.
Lifesong provides grants and interest free loans for families adopting domestically and/or internationally. Calvary Church also provides funds, through Lifesong, to support Calvary members answering the call to adopt. For more information on how you can donate to Calvary’s adoption fund or if you are interested in applying for funding assistance, please contact our Missions Department.
