May is upon us, and it is going to be a great month at all of Calvary’s campuses.

This weekend is our Beach Baptism event. This is such a special time to celebrate as a church family. We invite people who need to respond to Christ in faith and in Believer’s Baptism to step out and make their commitments to Christ. We will gather at Sand Key Park, south of Clearwater Beach at 6:00 for a brief time of fellowship, worship, and celebrating the baptisms in the Gulf. Register at Calvary.us/BeachBaptism.

Mother’s Day weekend is coming up May 12th. We will have special recognition in all of our services for Moms and also a time of Baby Dedication. We also remember women of all ages and life situations. We do life together, and we rejoice with those who rejoice and mourn with those who mourn. You won’t feel left out, I promise.

We’re starting a new series from Proverbs entitled Unsocial Media: How to Get Along in a World that Doesn’t. I think this is such an important and timely word for us all.

Women’s Night of Worship and the Word is Monday, May 13th at 6:30 pm at the Clearwater campus. It will be a great night of worship and our daughter, Amanda Stanton, who serves so ably on our Clearwater staff, will be speaking. I think it is really going to be a terrific night for all our women to be encouraged in the Lord. Register for this free event at Calvary.us/Women.

You also want to mark your calendar for our Graduate Recognition Sunday on May 19th across all of our campuses. Register your high school senior at Calvary.us/SeniorSunday.

This is going to be a great month as we get ready for the Summer ahead. I hope to see you this weekend at Calvary!
