First Things – October 1
Welcome October! We have a great month of ministry ahead at Calvary.
We’ve had a huge response to our Me Too: Stories of Brokenness and Grace series. There are three more messages in this series and you don’t want to miss it.
If you are new at Calvary and haven’t yet attended one of our Starting Point dinners we have opportunities to do so on all three campuses this month. This is the best way to take your step to find out more about Calvary and how to get connected. Register at Calvary.us/StartingPoint. Here’s the schedule:
- Clearwater is October 10 at 6:00 pm
- East Lake is October 7 at 6:00 pm
- Seminole is October 3 at 6:00 pm
Our bi-annual Women’s Night of Worship has become a highlight for our ladies. On October 15th, we’re inviting women from across all three of our campuses for a night of worship and teaching from God’s word. Register for the event and childcare at Calvary.us/Women.
Toward the end of the month, each of our campuses will be hosting some special events. On October 26-28, our Seminole campus will be hosting a Judgement House walk-through drama. To volunteer or to purchase tickets, visit Calvary.us/JudgementHouse.
At our Clearwater and East Lake campuses, we will host Trunk or Treat on Halloween night, Wednesday October 31. For more information, visit Calvary.us/TrunkorTreat.
If you haven’t heard the announcement about the transition taking place in Calvary’s worship ministry you can listen to this video explaining it. Pastor Greg Toney has announced he will be retiring from our staff in 2019 and Kyle Mullet will be transitioning back to the role of CCHS campus pastor. Please join me in prayer as we search for the Director of Worship Ministries at Calvary. This is a vitally important position and we are seeking God’s direction.
