    First Things – October 1st

We are so grateful to see so many of our church family returning to gather for public worship each Sunday. Each week more and more people are safely returning to the important practice of gathering together to worship our Lord.

We also understand that there are good reasons for others to remain online for now, but rest assured that we miss seeing you and that we are doing our best to make our environments as safe as possible for when you are ready to return. We are going to continue our current schedule through the month of October with services at 9:00AM & 11:00AM on Sunday mornings at each of our campuses and live online. We also have ministries for our children and preschool in all services. Our student ministry will continue to meet on Wednesday nights. We have a Wednesday worship gathering at our Clearwater campus with Pastor Jeremy Westbrook that is also broadcast online each week at 6:30PM.

Our East Lake campus is progressing nicely and we anticipate being able to open that facility sometime over the holidays. We hope to share a projected opening date by the end of October.

I know things aren’t completely back to normal yet, but we are making great progress. We are very hopeful that as we approach the holidays we will be able to observe many of our familiar traditions as we express our thanks and celebrate all the Lord has done for us.

Thank you for being so cooperative and patient as we have tried to navigate this unusual period. We’re doing the best we can to cooperate with our civil authorities (as Scripture commands us to do), keep everyone as safe as possible, and yet still gather our church for public worship and discipleship. Thank you for being so understanding during this time.

Finally, let me say a huge thank you again for your continued financial support of Calvary. It’s been an amazing year to watch how our people have rallied and continue to keep the mission and work of our church going forward. I cannot thank you enough.

I pray you stay well and we hope to see you back at Calvary very soon.
