FIRST THINGS | SEPTEMBER
First Things – September 1st
We are days away from regathering our Calvary family! On Sunday, September 13th we will worship in-person across all three campuses for worship services at 9:00AM and 11:00AM, including our children and preschool ministries.
We are also resuming Wednesday night activities and groups beginning Wednesday, September 16th. Our student ministries will gather on Wednesday nights at 6:00PM across all campuses. We’re so looking forward to welcoming you back!
Some of our schedules and policies are different than before, so check out all the latest details and policies on our website at Calvary.us.
While we’re re-gathering, we are still taking seriously the concerns about COVID-19 and attempting to follow all our local government and health guidelines. You can read a full list of our policies, including questions about masks and social distancing at Calvary.us/Gather. We are committed to providing an environment that is as safe as possible during this season.
As some volunteers may not be able to return right away, there are plenty of opportunities to serve in-person! If you are interested in volunteering at Calvary Kids, or serving in Guest Services, please check out the opportunities listed here at Calvary.us/TeamCalvary and let us know you’d like to serve.
We know some may not be ready to return yet. There may be underlying health concerns or other valid reasons why you will choose to continue to worship with us online. We want to remind you that you are not forgotten or overlooked. We’re more committed than ever before to stay connected with you online and provide the resources and community for you to connect with others and grow in your faith. You can stay connected online Calvary.us and continue to participate in our online services at Calvary.us/Watch.
This has been a difficult season and we know that challenges remain. We believe it is vitally important for us to begin meeting together again in public worship. We cannot eliminate all risks, but we can and will minimize them by acting responsibly and safely. It’s time to move forward in the work God has called us to and in our relationships with Christ.
I pray you stay well and hope to see many of you as we regather our church family on Sunday, September 13th.
