I let go of an employee last week, and today I reached out to get his equipment sent to the office. The employee died yesterday. I thought of the previous week's sermon, "give us *this day* our daily bread." It's incredible how short life can end. For someone like me, who has no one in this life, it's a paralyzing feeling.
