The Vision

What is X150?

When followers of Jesus are sent out to love their neighbors, share the Gospel, and make disciples communities are transformed.  This is the power of the local church.  This is the heart of X150.

In March of 2016, Calvary Church celebrated its 150th anniversary.  Taking the opportunity to not only back but to look forward, the question was posed,“What are we going to do today that will matter 150 years from now?” The answer was simple yet God-sized – plant 150 Churches around the world.  At that moment, the X150 vision was born and a 10-year goal was set:

START 100 NEW CHURCHES

around the world through key international partnerships

START 25 NEW CHURCHES

in strategic cities around the United States

REVITALIZE 20 CHURCHES

around Tampa Bay area to help reach their communities

START 5 NEW CALVARY CAMPUSES

to impact Pinellas county with the Gospel

Get Involved

“When you plant a biblical, missional, Gospel church that preaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ, you end up impacting everything that is important in the Kingdom of God. When a church is what a church ought to be . . . then orphans get adopted, widows get cared for, the sick are prayed over, the poor are served, the lost are evangelized, the saved are discipled, the children are educated, injustice is confronted, Christ is magnified! When a Gospel church is planted, the Kingdom of God grows!” -Dr. William Rice

Disciple Maker

Jesus gave all His followers a mission: Go and make disciples. But what is a disciple and how do you make disciples? Join a 4-week Disciple Maker class to learn how you can fulfill the Great Commission.
