Let the countdown calendars begin! This week, we enter the last month of school. So many emotions are going on for our team. Excitement for the school year to end. Sadness that this school year is about to end. There is a jubilation about the summer activities and stress about all of the summer activities. With all of these mixed emotions, we have some awesome things planned for you guys. We have some fun activities planned during these last few weeks of school and some events to kick off summer.  Make sure to read below about what is happening for Calvary Students.

    Wednesday Night

The last series of the year is upon us. You have three weeks left to turn in those papers, read those books, take some test and say goodbye. With all of the looming items on your schedule, you are probably already stressed or you will be soon. This month, join us on Wednesday nights to unwind a bit as we launch a series called “Pressure Points”. We are going to see what the Bible says about stress in our lives and give you some helpful tools to deal with that stress. We hope that you will commit to join us for these last weeks of the school year for some fun times and inspiring thoughts.

    Dinner is from 6pm – 6:30pm // Service is from 6:30pm – 8:00pm

Check out the information below for Campus Specific needs.

    Campus Specific Events

Make sure to check out the Campus Specific Events section below to keep up with all of the activities we have planned for the month.

    Graduate Sunday – May 27th

Graduation is such an emotional rollercoaster. There is joy and excitement, sadness and anxiety, anticipation and frustration. There is no easy way to engage this season of life. While the students are laughing and wishing it away, parents are often times holding on to every last moment. We want to be a part of this special time for your family. Calvary Church wants to extend our support and encouragement with you as our family. On Sunday, May 27th, we will recognize our seniors during both morning services at each of our campuses. We would love for your family to be recognized. The day also provides a time of refreshments and memories for families to enjoy together. To register, visit www.calvary.us/seniorsunday. This will help us to keep track of info better.  All pictures can be emailed to Pastor Justin at calvarystudents@calvary.us.

    Calvary Students Campout – May 29th – 31st

High School students will be kicking off summer in style! We are renaming our annual camping trip “ELEVATE Excursion” to “Calvary Students Campout”. This year, we are headed to camp at Fort De Soto. We will have team competitions, time to build relationships and be challenged in God’s Word. This is for current high school students at each of our campuses. Register and get more info at www.calvary.us/campout

    Calvary Students Summer Schedule

There is plenty to do this summer for our students. To know what we are doing and to register for summer events, simply visit our Summer Schedule at www.calvary.us/studentsummer. This calendar is already full, and it is going to be getting even fuller. You will want to take a look every week to see what is happening for your students.

    -The Calvary Students Team

    CLEARWATER CAMPUS:

    Middle School

On Sunday mornings, our middle school students group up in the Gym and are in the midst of a study called “Shaken” by Tim Tebow. Most of us have been on the receiving end of rejection, a broken dream, or heartbreak. And while this is not an easy space to go through, when we are grounded in the truth, we can endure the tough times. Join us for this great study on Sunday mornings.

    High School

Sunday mornings, join us in the gym at 9:15 for a variety of Community Groups. We are currently in multiple studies. There are some groups walking verse by verse through Scripture while others are teaching toward specific topics like apologetics, discipleship and a study by Francis Chan “Crazy Love”.

High School “Fortnite on the Fourth Night” – May 4th 6PM – 8PM

We are going to role play one of the most common video games that is currently out there, Fortnite. Join us at the Student Ministry Center from 6-8PM this Friday to drop into the party. Bring a Nerf gun or two (we will supply the Nerf darts). Everyone will start outside of the building and race to find some guns and ammunition before fighting to be the sole survivor. Pizza dinner will be provided. Bring some friends and come enjoy an epic night.

     EAST LAKE CAMPUS:

    Middle School

On Sunday mornings, our middle school students group up in the DRIVE Garage. How can you properly read the scriptures? What principles and methods of study should you follow? What tools are available to help you? How can you grow in spiritual understanding while reading the Word of God? Join us this Sunday at 9:30 to learn more!

    High School

Sunday mornings, join us in the ELEVATE Room at 9:30 for our Community Groups.  We weren’t created to be alone.  Instead, God created man to live in community with each other. When God established the Church, He did so with community in mind. Join us for this study of what it means to be the Church as a community.

    SEMINOLE   CAMPUS:

    Middle School

Sunday mornings, join us in the youth room at 9:30 for our Community Groups. We are currently working through the question, “What is discipleship?” Over the next several weeks we are going to engage in conversation and Bible Study about what it means to be a disciple of Jesus and what it means to make disciples. It’s a journey, so join us on this adventure.
