This week is Vacation Bible School Week at Calvary!!! We had hundreds of kids at our Clearwater Campus this morning, and we are so pumped to be launching an evening Vacation Bible School at our Seminole Campus this week. We are praying for God to work in the lives of these students and their families. Each year, it is a joy to see how many of our middle school and high school students are involved in making this week possible.  So…thank you! We are so grateful for the hard work of all of our volunteers, but since our focus this week is so heavy on VBS, we have less going on this week for students, but there are still some things happening you will want to know about.

    This Week for Students –

    • 6/18 – East Lake Bible Study from 7PM – 8PM for MS and HS Students // Guys meet at Wendy’s in the Boot Ranch Plaza // Girls meet at Panera at US-19 and Tarpon Ave.

    • 6/21 – VBS Volunteers Pizza Party – this Friday after VBS dismissal, head over to the Student Center on the Clearwater Campus to have some pizza and hang out. We want to say “Thank You” for serving by feeding you and hanging out from 12:15 – 2:30.

    • 6/23 – Camp Meeting on each Campus for families that are attending GENERATE Camp.  This will be held right after both services and will be quick.

    • 6/23 – East Lake High School Water Day at the Marlin’s House from 1:30 – 4:00PM.  Bring swimwear, towel and change of clothes.

GENERATE Summer Camp – July 15-19

Camp is waiting for us to get there.  Here is some stuff to keep in mind as camp is getting closer:

Camp Meetings will be held on each campus on Sunday, June 23rd to help you with any questions you have as well as to help us make sure we have all that we need (payments and forms). We will have a notary on site to help with getting waiver forms completed and turned in.

Each week after this, we will have an area for you to turn in paperwork or ask last minute questions.  Please make it a priority to attend the camp meeting on June 23rd.

Things to put on your radar for upcoming weeks

    -The Calvary Students Team

    CLEARWATER CAMPUS:

    Middle School Groups

On Sunday mornings, our middle school students group up in the Gym before they head to their groups which are focused on their grade/gender. We have some amazing leaders pouring into middle school students during the 9:15 hour every Sunday morning.

    High School Groups

Sunday mornings, join us in the gym at 9:15 for a variety of Groups. We are currently in multiple studies. There are some groups walking verse by verse through Scripture while others are teaching toward specific topics like apologetics and discipleship. We take this time to dig deeper into God’s Word and build healthy relationships.

     EAST LAKE CAMPUS:

    Middle School

On Sunday mornings, our middle school meet in Groups in the DRIVE Garage. How can you properly read the scriptures? What principles and methods of study should you follow? What tools are available to help you? How can you grow in spiritual understanding while reading the Word of God? Join us this Sunday at 9:30 to learn more!

    High School

Sunday mornings, join us in the High School Gathering Room at 9:30 for our Groups.  We weren’t created to be alone.  Instead, God created man to live in community with each other. When God established the Church, He did so with community in mind. Join us for this study of what it means to be the Church as a community.

    SEMINOLE   CAMPUS:

    Middle School

Sunday mornings, come Worship with us in the Main Worship Center at 9:30 am or 11:00 am. Seminole Students take the approach of attending a service and serving a service. We want to help you take your Next Step on your Life’s Journey.

Come check us out on Wednesdays for a service geared towards you and Groups that help you grow deeper in your faith. Come see us in the Student Center, located on the 2nd floor of the Worship Center. We are currently working through the question, “What is discipleship?” Over the next several weeks we are going to engage in conversation and Bible Study about what it means to be a disciple of Jesus and what it means to make disciples. It’s a journey, so join us on this adventure.
