Is it really Spring Break? I can’t believe we are already to this point! This year is flying by. There have been some really amazing “God moments” this year, and there have been some really horrible “dumb teenager” moments as well. While Floridians may never fully understand this, life is full of seasons. We have moments where we see health and growth, and there are times where we go through pain and difficulty. The season we are in is coming to a quick close, so make the most of what you have left. Perhaps you are still riding high after COLLIDE Weekend, then keep on soaring. Wherever you find yourself, get connected to God’s Word and God’s People. Make it a priority to spend time in the Bible yourself, and make it a priority to be an active participant in Calvary Students. Check out what is happening at Calvary Students below.

Wednesday Night – Not My Jesus

This week, we are starting a three-week look at “Not My Jesus”.  We live in a culture that seems to obsess over catch phrases – from Me Too to You Only Live Once. We gravitate toward trendy buzz-phrases as an expression of who we are. One that has come to a lot of attention over the last couple of years has been “Not My…” This phrase has been expressed as “Not My America”, “Not My Battle”, “Not My Problem”, “Not My President”. While each have some political agenda tied to them, the basic meaning is that each person has a different view of the particular object. I think this is a problem in the church today. We all say we love Jesus and follow Jesus but when we sit down and look at what we say we believe about Jesus, it differs.  The Bible is clear about who Jesus is and what Jesus did and what Jesus said…and anything other than that is “Not My Jesus”.  Bring some friends with you as we engage in a look at who Jesus is on Wednesday Nights from 6PM – 8PM.

    Dinner is from 6pm – 6:30pm // Service is from 6:30pm – 8:00pm

    CLEARWATER CAMPUS:

    Middle School

On Sunday mornings, our middle school students group up in the Gym before they head to their groups which are focused on their grade/gender. We have some amazing leaders pouring into middle school students during the 9:15 hour every Sunday morning.

    High School

Sunday mornings, join us in the gym at 9:15 for a variety of Groups. We are currently in multiple studies. There are some groups walking verse by verse through Scripture while others are teaching toward specific topics like apologetics and discipleship. We take this time to dig deeper into God’s Word and build healthy relationships.

     EAST LAKE CAMPUS:

    Middle School

On Sunday mornings, our middle school meet in Groups in the DRIVE Garage. How can you properly read the scriptures? What principles and methods of study should you follow? What tools are available to help you? How can you grow in spiritual understanding while reading the Word of God? Join us this Sunday at 9:30 to learn more!

    High School

Sunday mornings, join us in the High School Gathering Room at 9:30 for our Groups.  We weren’t created to be alone.  Instead, God created man to live in community with each other. When God established the Church, He did so with community in mind. Join us for this study of what it means to be the Church as a community.

    SEMINOLE   CAMPUS:

    Middle School

Sunday mornings, come Worship with us in the Main Worship Center at 9:30 am or 11:00 am. Seminole Students take the approach of attending a service and serving a service. We want to help you take your Next Step on your Life’s Journey.

Come check us out on Wednesdays for a service geared towards you and Groups that help you grow deeper in your faith. Come see us in the Student Center, located on the 2nd floor of the Worship Center. We are currently working through the question, “What is discipleship?” Over the next several weeks we are going to engage in conversation and Bible Study about what it means to be a disciple of Jesus and what it means to make disciples. It’s a journey, so join us on this adventure.
