Calvary Students Life – May 7
I love our Beach Baptism Service! Every time we gather at Sand Key Beach as Calvary Church, we gather as one church representing 3 campuses. Last night it was a joy to see hundreds of our church family on the beach to celebrate with those who were publicly testifying to their faith in Jesus as Lord. We had several students both middle school and high school take that step of obedience last night. Each baptism is so special because it is not only a declaration of faith but a memorial moment in someone’s story. God is writing an amazing story in each our lives, and on nights like last night, it is always special to think about that particular moment in their journey. If you missed it and feel like God is leading you to go public in your faith through baptism; we can make it happen each and every week at all of our campuses. Just let us know when you want to take that step, and we will make it happen.
It is week 2 of Pressure Points: Overcome Regrets, Stress and Worry. Last week we talked about how we can so easily find ourselves overcome with fear and anxiety because of our focus on the future. Jesus taught in Luke 12 that none of us have the ability to predict or manipulate the future, so why do we waste our lives in bondage to stress about it? This week, we are going to take a look at how we so often blur our focus by worrying over what is happening right now. We can be so close to God working yet totally miss it. We hope to see you this week at Calvary Students.
Dinner is from 6pm – 6:30pm // Service is from 6:30pm – 8:00pm

Graduate Sunday – May 27th
Graduation is such an emotional rollercoaster. There is joy and excitement, sadness and anxiety, anticipation and frustration. There is no easy way to engage this season of life. While the students are laughing and wishing it away, parents are often times holding on to every last moment. We want to be a part of this special time for your family. Calvary Church wants to extend our support and encouragement with you as our family. On Sunday, May 27th, we will recognize our seniors during both morning services at each of our campuses. We would love for your family to be recognized. The day also provides a time of refreshments and memories for families to enjoy together. To register, visit www.calvary.us/seniorsunday. This will help us to keep track of info better. All pictures can be emailed to Pastor Justin at firstname.lastname@example.org.

-The Calvary Students Team
On Sunday mornings, our middle school students group up in the Gym and are in the midst of a study called “Shaken” by Tim Tebow. Most of us have been on the receiving end of rejection, a broken dream, or heartbreak. And while this is not an easy space to go through, when we are grounded in the truth, we can endure the tough times. Join us for this great study on Sunday mornings.
Sunday mornings, join us in the gym at 9:15 for a variety of Community Groups. We are currently in multiple studies. There are some groups walking verse by verse through Scripture while others are teaching toward specific topics like apologetics, discipleship and a study by Francis Chan “Crazy Love”.

Sunday mornings, join us in the ELEVATE Room at 9:30 for our Community Groups. We weren’t created to be alone. Instead, God created man to live in community with each other.
