Uganda Mission Trip

Sub-Saharan Africa has a growing Christian population, but it is still home to more than 1,700 unreached people groups in sprawling cities, barren deserts, rain forests, and tropical islands.  

In Uganda alone, there are over 12,000,000 people who do not have access to the Gospel, a Bible in their language, or a healthy local church.  Team members will have the special opportunity to fulfill the Great Commission while working alongside Shannon, a full-time International Mission Board (IMB) missionary, member of Calvary Church, and graduate of CCHS!  

Shannon and her team work in remote villages, sharing the Gospel with people who have never heard the name of Jesus, with the goal of making disciples who make disciples and seeing healthy local churches started.  Through counseling and therapy ministries, discipleship groups, community development, and evangelism, the team is seeing lives and eternities transformed by the power of the Gospel.  Mission team members will have the opportunity to join in this ministry and encourage local believers as they work to see every tribe, tongue, nation, and people reached with the good news of Jesus.
