As we start 2020, we want to share with you some new and exciting opportunities to learn more about how you can be involved!  We know that not everyone is called to welcome a foster or adopted child into their home, – but as followers of Christ we are all called to help in some way, – so we have developed opportunities for the whole church to be part of this initiative. You can serve individually, as a family, or as a group. Together, and with the power of the Gospel, we can make a difference in the lives and eternities of children and families.

Guardian ad Litems are volunteer child advocates that help represent the best interests of children in the foster care system.  With just several hours dedicated every month, you have the potential to greatly impact the life of a child in our community.  No special background or education is needed and volunteers are thoroughly trained so you can feel confident serving in this capacity. If you are interested in learning more about the Guardian ad Litem program please consider attending one of our upcoming informational meetings.

Care Team Informational Meetings

This year Calvary is re-launching Care Teams for foster, adoptive, relative, and non-relative caregiver families.  Care Teams provide much needed support to families through delivering meals, helping with odd jobs around the house, running errands like grocery shopping, and faithfully lifting families up in prayer. If you would like to join a Care Team please check out one of our brief informational meetings to learn more about this opportunity.  Care Teams are also a great way for families and groups to serve together! If you or your family are in need of assistance from a Care Team, please sign up below.
