Welcome to Calvary’s waterfront location! We are located at the far west end of Crystal Beach Avenue (625 Crystal Beach Avenue) . . . just steps from our front door to the beautiful Gulf . . . and the sunset views, wow! Our location has a long and rich history in the community, and we are thankful to be a part of the Crystal Beach area.

We believe you’ll find our church to be a great blend of traditional feel with contemporary flair and we regularly hear from those who attend that “this church just feels like family.” Come join us and see for yourself!

Children and Student Ministries

Children’s Ministry

We provide dynamic programs for children 6 weeks-5th grade in our Family Ministries area. Every Sunday your children will be engaged in Bible teaching through age-appropriate, enriching activities in a safe and nurturing environment.

Exciting Adventures

Student Ministry

Students 6th-12th grade will connect in meaningful Bible teaching, discussion and prayer in safe age-graded environments at 11:00 am. We encourage students to join their parents at the 9:00am worship service.

Worship, Community, and Fun!

Wednesday Night Programs

In conjunction with our adult groups, we offer ministry to preschool, elementary and middle/high school students every Wednesday night as well.

Calvary Church has been serving Crystal Beach and neighboring communities for more than 150 years. What started as a gathering in downtown Clearwater in 1866 has turned into a body of believers that stretches across the county, the state, and around the world!

All of us are on a Faith Journey. At Calvary, we want to meet every person where they are, help them connect with others, and provide a clear next step for personal growth in their relationship with Christ. This all starts with us getting to know each other in an environment we call, “Starting Point”. 

Starting Point is an environment we offer once a month for people looking to connect here at Calvary. It’s a place where we get to hear your story and discover how we can come alongside you in your Faith Journey. A free meal is provided and childcare is available. You can register for the next Starting Point here. 

Come as you are! We do not have any kind of expressed dress code as long as you’re not wearing anything indecent or offensive.

Come early and stop by our Crystal Beach Cafe for a free cup of coffee and some delicious pastries or breakfast sandwiches for purchase. Cafe seating is available inside or enjoy the scenic view from one of our outdoor bistro tables on the patio.

All parking in Crystal Beach is public and free parking. We also provide First Time Guest parking on the west-side of the main sanctuary entrance. Parking within walking distance is available all around Live Oak Park north of our campus.

Ready to dive deeper? Visit our Connection Hub after service to find out how to join a group and get more involved. We provide groups on Sundays, Wednesday evenings and several other times throughout the week. There’s a place for everyone to connect! You can find a group HERE today.

For more than 150 years, Calvary Church has been intrinsically connected to our community. Throughout the year you will find us engaged in annual events in our community i.e.  Easter in the park, Trunk or Treat and the Christmas Golf Cart Parade.  We also connect with local schools to love and serve them. There are lots of ways to get involved and while no one is called to do everything, everyone is called to do something. We’d love to help you find a place to serve today!

Baptism Sunday

If you have not been baptized and are ready to take this next step in obedience, get baptized with your church family cheering you on on Baptism Sunday! Baptisms will take place at all campuses during service(s).
